HISTORY

• Founded as D & S Computer Systems in 1989

• Renamed D & S CompuTel and registered with the State of Ohio in 1993

• In our present location in downtown Willoughby since 2001.

SERVICES

D & S CompuTel provides Information Technology Consulting services to help our clients select, install, configure and maintain PC based hardware and software solutions.  We sell new PC systems “built to order” and upgrade/repair legacy equipment.  We design, configure and implement both Peer-to-Peer and Server/Client networks.  We do everything from the initial site survey to the final software configuration.  Our services include installation of site wiring, commissioning of PC’s & peripherals, software installation & configuration and data transfer/conversion.

Our customers look to us as total solution providers.

HARDWARE & SOFTWARE OFFERINGS

All of our Nobilis brand PC Systems, Notebooks and Servers are custom built in the Willoughby area by a national company and feature a one, two or three-year parts and labor factory warranty.  This allows us to provide rapid initial deployment and fast warranty service.  We also provide an assortment of peripheral devices including printers, networking, communication and VPN/Firewall hardware.  Our local vendors stock over twenty-five thousand items while we have access to over 150,000 products from our national vendors.

 We are a Microsoft Partner and a member of their System Builder program.  We are experienced in all Window environments (98, ME, 2000, XP, Server 2000 & Small Business Server 2003) as well as other Microsoft offerings.  In addition, we are familiar with most other popular software products.  Some of our experience includes: GEAC Construction Manager & Star Builder, Primavera Expedition & Project, Intuit QuickBooks, Accpac, DacEasy, MAS90, PeachTree, LaGarde StoreFront and Red Wing packages.
